Rich Green grew up around horticulture. He studied Landscape Architecture at Ohio State, then earned a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware Valley College in 1993. For the next sixteen years, he worked as a foreman and then Residential Landscape Production Manager — running crews, designing installations, and learning the hard lessons that come from being on a job every day instead of behind a desk.

By 2009, he'd seen enough of how the industry worked — and how it should work — to start his own. DELIS Landscaping opened that year with a simple idea: handle the whole project. Design through maintenance. One team, one warranty, one phone number. No subcontractor surprises, no design-in-isolation problems, no maintenance crew showing up to mow over an installation no one explained to them.

Seventeen years later, the company is still in Pennington, still owner-operated, and still doing it the same way.
